Friends of the Foothills - Provides an overview of efforts to preserve open space in southern Orange County, California. LightHawk - Using the power of flight to educate the public and press about land use practices that threaten to destroy the earth's fragile ecosystems, LightHawk's staff and volunteer pilots fly elected officials, community leaders and other influential observers on hundreds of conservation missions each year. The Nature Conservancy - Information on animals, plants and habitats from the group that operates the world's largest private system of nature sanctuaries.
